1. Introduction
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the 1bi0 platform and all services provided by 1bi0 Technologies LLP ("Company", "we", "our", "us"). By accessing or using our platform, you agree to comply with this AUP in addition to our Terms & Conditions. This AUP applies to all users, administrators, and workspaces on the platform.
2. General Prohibited Uses
You must not use the 1bi0 platform to engage in any of the following activities:
Illegal or Harmful Content
- Uploading, transmitting, or distributing content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, fraudulent, or otherwise harmful
- Engaging in or facilitating any activity that violates applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
- Impersonating any person, business, or entity, or misrepresenting your affiliation with any person or organization
- Promoting or facilitating violence, self-harm, or harassment of any individual or group
- Distributing child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content that exploits or endangers minors
Spam and Unsolicited Bulk Messaging
- Sending unsolicited bulk messages, spam, or commercial communications to recipients who have not provided explicit opt-in consent
- Using the platform to conduct mass messaging campaigns to purchased, rented, or scraped contact lists
- Circumventing or attempting to circumvent recipient opt-out or unsubscribe requests
- Sending repetitive or substantially similar messages to large numbers of recipients in a short period
- Using automated means to send messages beyond what is permitted by the relevant platform's policies
Malware, Hacking, and Security Threats
- Uploading, transmitting, or distributing viruses, malware, ransomware, spyware, adware, or any other harmful code
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform, its servers, databases, or other users' accounts
- Conducting denial-of-service (DoS) or distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks against the platform or any third-party service
- Exploiting security vulnerabilities in the platform or its underlying infrastructure
- Conducting phishing, social engineering, or credential-harvesting attacks
- Scanning, probing, or testing the vulnerability of the platform without prior written authorization
Scraping, Data Harvesting, and Unauthorized Access
- Using automated tools, bots, crawlers, or scrapers to extract data from the platform without express written permission
- Harvesting or collecting personal information about other users without their knowledge or consent
- Accessing or attempting to access data belonging to other workspaces or tenants on the platform
- Bypassing or attempting to bypass access controls, authentication systems, or encryption measures
Unauthorized Reselling and Platform Abuse
- Reselling, sublicensing, or otherwise making the platform available to third parties without express written authorization from 1bi0 Technologies LLP
- White-labeling or rebranding the platform as your own product without a written reseller agreement
- Using the platform in a manner that places excessive or unreasonable load on our infrastructure
- Interfering with or disrupting the integrity, performance, or availability of the platform or any connected services
- Creating multiple free accounts to circumvent plan limits or resource quotas
3. Messaging-Specific Rules
The following rules apply specifically to messaging features on the 1bi0 platform, including WhatsApp Business, Instagram DM, and Facebook Messenger integrations:
Recipient Consent
- You must obtain clear, explicit, and documented opt-in consent from all recipients before initiating outbound messaging on any channel
- You must maintain records of opt-in consent and make them available upon request
- You must honor opt-out requests promptly and stop all messaging to a recipient who has unsubscribed or requested not to be contacted
- You must not send messages to recipients who have blocked your number or account
Prohibited Message Content
- You must not send messages containing illegal, fraudulent, abusive, threatening, or harassing content
- You must not send unsolicited marketing or promotional messages to recipients who have not specifically opted in to receive marketing communications
- You must not use messaging channels to conduct phishing attacks, distribute malware, or engage in social engineering
- You must not send messages that violate the intellectual property rights of any third party
- You must not impersonate another business, individual, or brand in your messaging communications
- You must not send bulk promotional messages outside of approved message template windows on platforms that require them (e.g., WhatsApp)
Message Template Compliance
- WhatsApp message templates must be submitted to and approved by Meta before use; you must not use unapproved templates
- Templates must accurately reflect the content that will be sent; misleading or deceptive templates are prohibited
- You must not use message templates to send promotional content in categories that Meta restricts to specific template types
- Instagram and Messenger message content must comply with all applicable Meta content policies
Messaging Window Compliance
- WhatsApp free-form messages (non-template) may only be sent within the 24-hour customer service window after the recipient has messaged you first
- Instagram DMs must be sent within the applicable 7-day messaging window unless permitted by Meta policy
- Facebook Messenger messages outside the standard 24-hour window may only use permitted message tags as defined by Meta's Messenger Platform Policy
- You must not attempt to artificially extend, circumvent, or exploit messaging windows
4. Meta / Third-Party Platform Compliance
When using messaging integrations powered by Meta Platforms, Inc. (WhatsApp Business, Instagram, and Facebook Messenger), you are bound by Meta's policies in addition to this AUP. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of these integrations complies with all applicable Meta policies. Key policies you must read and comply with include:

Your Obligations Under Meta Policies
- Maintain a valid and verified Meta Business Portfolio (Business Manager) in good standing
- Comply with Meta's business verification requirements and provide accurate business information
- Ensure your WhatsApp Business phone number quality rating remains in good standing by avoiding spam and responding to customers
- Submit message templates that comply with Meta's template guidelines and only use approved templates in production
- Obtain and maintain proper opt-in consent records for WhatsApp messaging as required by Meta's policy
- Not use Meta's platforms for any purpose prohibited by Meta, including but not limited to gambling, adult content, weapons, pharmaceuticals, or financial services without proper authorization
- Promptly address any quality rating degradation or policy warnings issued by Meta
Meta Policy Enforcement
- 1bi0 Technologies LLP acts as a Meta Business Solution Provider (BSP) and is itself bound by Meta's policies
- Meta may independently restrict, suspend, or terminate your access to WhatsApp Business, Instagram, or Messenger if you violate their policies
- 1bi0 is not responsible for actions taken by Meta against your account, including loss of messaging access, phone number suspension, or Business Manager restrictions
- Policy violations that result in Meta taking action against 1bi0's platform access may affect all tenants; repeated or serious violations by a tenant may result in immediate account termination
5. AI Feature Acceptable Use
The following rules apply to all AI-powered features on the 1bi0 platform, including the AI chatbot, AI auto-reply, AI agent, and knowledge base:
AI Prohibited Uses
- You must not use AI features to generate, distribute, or promote illegal, harmful, abusive, defamatory, or misleading content
- You must not attempt to manipulate, jailbreak, or exploit AI models to bypass safety measures or generate prohibited content
- You must not use AI features to conduct automated spam, phishing, or social engineering attacks
- You must not use AI chatbots to impersonate real individuals, emergency services, or government entities
- You must not use AI auto-reply features to send messages that violate messaging-specific rules in Section 3 of this AUP
- You must not submit to AI features any personal data you are not authorized to process, or any data that violates applicable privacy laws
6. Consequences of Violation
Violations of this Acceptable Use Policy may result in the following actions, depending on the severity and frequency of the violation:
Enforcement Actions
- Warning notice issued via email to the account owner
- Temporary suspension of specific features (e.g., messaging, AI auto-reply, bulk sending)
- Temporary suspension of your entire account pending investigation
- Permanent termination of your account without refund
- Reporting of your activities to law enforcement authorities where required by law or where we believe a crime has been committed
- Civil or legal action to recover damages caused by your violation
Suspension Process
Where possible, we will provide advance notice before suspending an account and give you an opportunity to respond. However, we reserve the right to immediately suspend or terminate accounts where we determine there is serious, ongoing, or imminent harm — such as active spam campaigns, security breaches, or clear violations of Meta's policies that put the platform at risk. Decisions regarding account suspension are final at our sole discretion, subject to applicable law.
7. Reporting Abuse
If you become aware of any use of the 1bi0 platform that violates this Acceptable Use Policy, or if you receive unsolicited or abusive messages originating from our platform, please report it to us immediately. We take all abuse reports seriously and will investigate promptly.

8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, applicable law, or third-party platform requirements (including Meta policy updates). We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated AUP on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated AUP.
