AI Terms (Supplementary)

1. Introduction

These AI Terms ("AI Terms") are a supplement to the 1bi0 Terms & Conditions and govern your use of all artificial intelligence (AI) features provided by 1bi0 Technologies LLP ("Company", "we", "our", "us") on the 1bi0 platform. By enabling or using any AI feature, you agree to these AI Terms. In the event of a conflict between these AI Terms and the main Terms & Conditions, these AI Terms govern with respect to AI-specific matters.

2. AI Features Overview

The 1bi0 platform includes the following AI-powered features:

Available AI Features

AI Chatbot — a per-business conversational AI assistant accessible via your 1bi0.ai subdomain and embeddable on your website
AI Auto-Reply — automated AI-generated responses to inbound WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook Messenger messages
AI Agent (Tool-Calling) — an advanced AI mode that can query your business data (products, inventory, courses, contacts) to answer customer queries
AI Search — intelligent search over your business knowledge base powered by vector embeddings
AI Formatting — AI-assisted formatting and enhancement for notes and content
Platform Chatbot — the 1bi0.ai platform assistant for general business discovery

AI Providers

Core AI features use self-hosted, open-source models that run entirely on 1bi0's own infrastructure. No data is sent to external AI providers in this default mode. If you activate the AI Integration module and connect your own third-party AI provider API key (Bring Your Own Key — BYOK), queries and relevant business context will be sent to that provider. Supported BYOK providers include OpenAI, Anthropic (Claude), Google (Gemini), and Groq.

3. AI Output Accuracy Disclaimer

AI-generated outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, out of date, or factually incorrect. You acknowledge and agree to the following:

Limitations of AI Outputs

AI-generated responses are provided for informational and convenience purposes only and do not constitute verified facts
AI outputs may contain errors, hallucinations (plausible-sounding but incorrect information), or outdated information
You must independently verify any AI-generated output before relying on it for business decisions, customer communications, or any other purpose
We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or fitness for any particular purpose of any AI-generated content
AI outputs may not reflect the most current information even if your knowledge base is up to date

Not Professional Advice

AI features on the 1bi0 platform do NOT provide legal advice, medical advice, financial advice, tax advice, or any other form of professional or expert advice. Any information generated by AI features is for general informational purposes only. You should always consult a qualified professional for legal, medical, financial, or other professional matters.

4. User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for your use of AI features and for all content generated through them. Specifically:

Scope of Responsibility

You are responsible for reviewing and approving AI-generated responses before they are sent to your customers, where manual review is feasible
You are responsible for monitoring AI auto-reply messages and ensuring they accurately represent your business
You are responsible for the accuracy of the business data (products, courses, services, FAQs) you provide to power AI responses
You are responsible for ensuring that any content generated by AI features and shared with third parties complies with applicable laws, does not infringe third-party intellectual property, and does not violate our Acceptable Use Policy
You are responsible for configuring AI features appropriately and disabling auto-reply if the quality of responses does not meet your standards

5. Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) Provider Terms

When you connect your own AI provider API key through the platform, the following terms apply:

Your use of OpenAI services through BYOK is subject to OpenAI's Terms of Use (https://openai.com/policies/terms-of-use) and Usage Policies (https://openai.com/policies/usage-policies)
Your use of Anthropic (Claude) services through BYOK is subject to Anthropic's Terms of Service (https://www.anthropic.com/legal/aup) and Usage Policy
Your use of Google (Gemini) services through BYOK is subject to Google's Generative AI Terms of Service and API Additional Terms of Service
Your use of Groq services through BYOK is subject to Groq's Terms of Service
You are solely responsible for reading, understanding, and complying with the terms and acceptable use policies of any third-party AI provider whose API key you connect

BYOK Costs and Billing

1bi0 does not charge additional fees for the number of AI queries you make — the platform subscription covers access to AI features
All usage charges from your third-party AI provider are billed directly by that provider to you; 1bi0 has no visibility into or responsibility for those charges
You are solely responsible for monitoring your third-party AI provider usage and managing any spending limits or alerts on your provider account
Your API key is stored encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM) and is used solely to make requests on your behalf; it is never shared with third parties or used for any other purpose

Data Sent to BYOK Providers

When you use BYOK, the following data may be sent to your chosen third-party AI provider: the user's query or message, relevant excerpts from your business knowledge base, conversation history (where needed for context), and system prompts configured by you or 1bi0
Personal data of your customers may be included in queries if it is present in the conversation; you are responsible for ensuring this is permissible under applicable privacy laws and the provider's data processing terms
We recommend reviewing your BYOK provider's data retention and processing policies before connecting their API key
When using self-hosted (non-BYOK) AI models, no data is sent to external providers

6. No Guarantee of Availability

We do not guarantee the continuous availability of AI features. AI features may be temporarily unavailable due to:

Factors Affecting Availability

Scheduled or unscheduled maintenance on our infrastructure or AI model servers
Outages or degraded performance of third-party AI providers (when using BYOK)
High load or resource constraints on shared AI infrastructure
Model updates, migrations, or changes to underlying AI technology
Rate limiting applied to your account due to excessive usage

No SLA for AI Features

AI features are provided on a best-effort basis. Unless explicitly stated in a separate enterprise agreement, we do not provide a Service Level Agreement (SLA) for AI feature uptime or response latency. We are not liable for losses arising from the temporary unavailability of AI features.

7. Limitation of Liability for AI

1bi0 Technologies LLP is NOT liable for any of the following arising from your use of AI features:

Excluded Liability

Any action taken, decision made, or loss incurred based on AI-generated responses or recommendations
Inaccurate product information, pricing errors, or misleading responses generated by AI from your business data
Customer dissatisfaction, complaints, or disputes arising from AI auto-reply messages
Costs incurred on your third-party AI provider account, including overages or unexpected usage
Data processed by third-party AI providers under your BYOK configuration
Violations of third-party terms caused by content you submit to AI features

8. Changes to These AI Terms

We may update these AI Terms from time to time, particularly as AI technology evolves or as third-party provider terms change. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated AI Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of AI features after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
